Dr. Marylena Florio is an evidence-based chiropractor from Vaughan, Ontario. She completed her post-secondary education at York University, attaining a BSc (Hons.) in Biomedical Science. She then continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and completed the 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic program, graduating Cum Laude.
Dr. Florio practices contemporary medical acupuncture and is certified in instrument assisted soft tissue release techniques.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Florio is a pitcher for Team Canada’s National Women’s Baseball Team, and an active member of the Ontario Women’s Baseball Team. She volunteers her free time to assist in coaching the Ontario Women’s and Girl’s Baseball Programs, where she works with top provincial players.
As a competitive athlete, Dr. Florio understands the importance of an active lifestyle, and emphasizes these principles in her holistic treatment and care of her patients.
