Sodiq is a Registered Massage Therapist and a Registered Kinesiologist.
In his practice, he combines strong foundations in athletic performance and evidence-based, holistic care. His approach is shaped by his experience as a collegiate track and field athlete, along with an honour’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University and a Massage Therapy diploma from Georgian College.
Early in his career, Sodiq practiced as a Registered Kinesiologist for two years, where he developed a deep understanding of movement, rehabilitation, and functional recovery. Building on this foundation, he has spent over six years working as a personal trainer and wellness coach, refining a patient-centered approach that emphasizes both improved physical function and long-term health ownership. He is committed to helping individuals not only recover from injury and manage pain, but also better understand and take control of their overall well-being.
Sodiq’s clinical work incorporates a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including sports massage, deep tissue therapy, myofascial release, active dynamic release, trigger point therapy, scar tissue work, cupping, reflexology, and relaxation massage. His treatments are tailored to support performance, reduce tension, and promote lasting physical balance.
Driven by a commitment to ongoing professional development, Sodiq continues to integrate his background in athletics, kinesiology, and massage therapy to deliver thoughtful, effective care that supports each client’s individual goals.
