ACL Rehab FAQ

How Long Does ACL Rehab Take?

A full term ACL rehab typically takes ~12 months. At ASCEND, we ensure your rehab progresses beyond basic recovery into full strength and return-to-sport/activity performance.

When Can I Return To Sport After An ACL Tear?

Return to sport is based on objective testing, not just time. Most athletes will receive clearance to return around 12 months, but only after successfully completing return to sport tests.

Should I Do Prehab Before My Surgery?

Undoubtedly. Focused and intentional preparation to develop mobility and strength before surgery drastically improves outcomes after surgery!
